This is an easy recipe for people who are beginners, for baking a moist and delicious banana bread.
Ingredients :
- 3 large overly ripe bananas
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Steps for Baking the Banana Bread
Step 1 : Preheat the Oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2 : In bowl 1, mash 3 large overly ripe bananas and mix in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract into this mash.
Step 3 : In bowl 2, mix in 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup almond flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Step 4 : In a big bowl, add 1/2 cup (1 stick) softened butter, 1 cup sugar and 2 large eggs and mix well either with a whisker or an electric mixer. Mix for 5 mins till you see a fluffy, creamy consistency.
Step 5 : Add the banana mash and flour mix to this big bowl and mix well.
Step 6 : Pour this mix into a 9×5 loaf pan that has been coated lightly with butter on bottom and all sides and place this in oven to cook for 60 mins.
Step 7 : After 60 mins, check that the bread is done by inserting a tooth pick or knife into the bread and if it comes out dry then it is done! If not then let it stay in for another 5-10 mins and then take it out.
Let it sit out for 20 mins to cool and after that slice the bread, eat and enjoy 🙂
